great wine and tapas...

so, aside from never having spent so much money on one meal, harvest vine, five blocks from the house on madison is delicious. matt was in town, so, we thought we'd live beyond our student-means and splurge at a restaurant that i had heard was good. the wine was amazing, and the food was orgasmic. really, my taste buds have never been so close to explosion. if you find yourself with an extra couple hundred dollars (our meal wasn't quite that much...but...), i would highly recommend it.

weekend was good. walked through the arboretum near the house on sunday. very beautiful fall day; many people had the same idea, which was nice to see people enjoying the crisp day and autumnal colors. the weekend was punctuated with studying, but matt had his law stuff anyway to do. mid-term today in urinary was uber annoying. we didn't have enough time...i had six questions left when we were supposed to turn in the exam; oh well for that grade. but had indian food on the ave afterwards, so that made up for it.

should be a manageable week save the paper i have to finish writing and that impeding final in cardiovascular next monday. really, the tests need to stop; it's just laughable at this point.

leaving you with pictures of my room that i recently re-painted: it was three shades of purple before i re-did it in a "grass" green and "chocolate brown"--it'll work for me.

PURPLENESS
