i've been studying pretty much non-stop all weekend save for a trip to costco with linnaea and a beer break at an irish pub with my friend kate from college and another friend visiting her from chicago. i'm really hoping that all of this studying will pay off for the mid-term tomorrow, which should be quite a treat to take. all in all, it's still fun, because i can read e[c/k]gs now! ST-elevation myocardial infarction: if you've got it, i'll tell you from your ecg.

matt did not, in fact, come this weekend as he got his three-day weekends mixed up. so he'll be in town this next weekend, which is fine considering the underestimation of how difficult this material is; however, i have a mid-term in urinary anyway, so it won't be a completely relaxing weekend, but such is life...

i did re-paint my room last weekend, which i can't remember if i posted, but i'll have to put up pictures at some point of the "new" room, which is much more to my liking.

also, i get to celebrate on tuesday morning of completion of my mid-term tomorrow with my pelvic exam tutorial. i'm not gonna lie: i'm not too excited about inserting my index finger in the vagina while concurrently inserting my middle finger into the rectum. i'll be sure to let you know how THAT goes...hmmm...
