i think that most of us wear many facades, which doesn't necessarily mean we're two-faced, but it does mean we're masking something, be it feelings, emotions, truths etc. and sometimes, i think, that it can just be stupid stuff that builds and builds. i hate to be analogous, but it's like you're a volcano waiting to erupt!
do you ever feel like a pendulum? well, maybe not YOU, per se, but your moods or emotions? maybe like a mild case of bipolar? you can be so happy and jovial and then you just get apathetic and disheartened? maybe my pendulum swings at a faster tempo, because i feel like mine just goes back and forth...back and forth.
sometimes it would be nice to speak your mind without regard of the consequences. duh. tell me something i don't know. i think we could all be better people if we could offer and receive criticisms bluntly and honestly: shut the fuck up; you're annoying the piss out of me. yeah, it'd be nice if i could say that sometimes to random people. it's usually always internal though, so the better part of oneself withholds a potential bridge-burning exclamation. if it didn't really annoy you a week ago, it probably still doesn't really annoy you--at least not enough to unleash on them.
well, here's to better moods. now, fuck off.

dan- reading your posts has just refreshed and reminded me of how deeply i love you and why i still hold you in my heart as my best friend. the jealousy thing, numero uno. no one here makes the distinction btw jealousy and envy and it annoys the freaking crap out of me. yes! jealousy is the fear of losing something you already have. envy is wanting something another has. GET IT STRAIGHT people! so thank you for pointing that one out. my w&m heehaws, as smart as they are, are lacking in that category.
and the pendulum thing... yes! one second i am like... oh man that person is so great, i love em, we could hang out forever. not more than two minutes later i want to bash their face in. of course, this violence is exaggerated- but still. you get the picture. totally agree! and what gets me is- i don't want to be that way. i don't want to swing back & forth, but it just sort of happens. and once i'm disheartened i don't know how to get back. but then i'm reminded of what Corrie ten Boom points out about the Apostle Paul in her book "The Hiding Place" (to go to your Power of Prayer thoughts)... Paul tells us to be satisfied by our present situation because even it is being used to strengthen us. God even uses our lowest points to teach us- so He knows where we are. And He is going to use it, so even if you feel like doo- God can maximize and glorify it!
I love you so much Slappy! I don't think anyone can understand how much I love you except you!!!!!
