that sense of "i'm in school" is flooding back all too quickly. my two-year sabbatical from note-taking, memorization, and regurgitation may not have been long enough. my weekend was one long unproductive procrastination of not studying too many things that can't be crammed in at the last minute.

i'm at a critical juncture--it's not too late to start studying if i hit it hard starting tomorrow for my four tests rapidly approaching; however, i fear that if i don't get my butt in gear, unlike my lounging around and going out to dinner and watching horror movies like house of wax this weekend (that's the paris hilton one, yes...and it could have been worse...that's right...it could have been worse), i won't be doing well.

you know that guilt complex that seems to hang over your head when you're in school? that continual nagging guilt that says, "study study study," and the response is, "shut the fuck up, i'll do what i want...." yeah, i fear that's back. and Guilt is starting to suffocate me.

as expected to some extent, i think it's the lack of "school" environment i find myself in that's contributed to my delinquency as a student. three twenty-somethings that i live with combined with my own twenty-somethingness is not conducive to my fact-memorizing and overall knowledge.

the good news: uw is pass/fail. i just have to pass. and so far i am. except for biochem where i've failed all three quizzes. i blame that on the professor; naturally, though, that's exactly what a procrastinating, guilt-stricken med student should do.

Hang in there, Dan; You can do it! (PS-I saw House of Wax, too, and you're right, it was NOt as bad as it could have been)

As a "Master" teacher, I know that it is his/her responsibility to motivate you. They need to step up to the plate and motivate my Dr. Dan, so until they do keep lounging around, go out to eat (with the money you are not earning), and watch stupid movies that help P. Hilton with her career...
Study some for me...I'm totally over this:)
