it is currently 1:55PM. my blinds are drawn. my feet are numb. my belly is full.

a rundown of the day. i slept until 11, where i immediately caught up on desperate housewives via the internet. after attempting to catch up on grey's anatomy, my computer shut off. i'm not sure why. all i know is the grey's episode isn't available anymore. how will it end? make the madness stop. but that 10-minute break gave me just enough time to relieve myself, toast a bagel, mail our bills (that are late...sarah latham!), and stir up some chocolate milk. oh yes. the day has been spent in my bed. exactly where God has intended.

but. i checked the oscar nominations out of boredom (and secretive curiosity) just now. i must say: little miss sunshine. hollah. great film...had no idea it would be nominated. and yes, i did also see the half nelson film in which ryan gosling is nominated. yes, i'm aware that no one else saw it or has even heard of it. yes, gosling is amazing in it. crack addict teacher with inappropriate boundaries with 13-year old students=recipe for success and occasional cringing.

speaking of film. i'm making it a goal to produce a "film" in my lifetime. i mean, the screenplay is on its way (someday) as well is the novel/la (already in production). but. i'm thinking a film short. they play the oscar-nominated film shorts here in anchorage. yes. i know. anchorage has culture. but really. i went last year; i'll go this year; it's spectacular. film really is something. if you haven't seen little miss sunshine or half nelson, i'd encourage it.

plans for the rest of the day include: waiting for grey's anatomy to return online, contemplate going to the gym, forcing myself to fix my car tire that slowly leaks air, and meditate on the meaning of life and my existence and purpose in this world. it's a busy day. but what can i say: i'm a busy guy.
