world of goo

so, i went to spokane with an kristin who was down from anchorage that was in town for a wedding this past weekend. spent some time with her and matt, which was quite the restorative retreat. spokane isn't quite as cultural as seattle, mind you, but it was less busy and serene. matt made us homemade pizza, which was delicious, and aside from that, we just hung out and studied (more of the former). saw the new kevin smith movie (zack and miri make a porno) which wasn't the funniest, and quite disgusting at points, but didn't take much brain power to understand, which was exactly what i was going for.

moreover, matt showed me this new computer game called world of goo that is sort of like building structures, but way freaking harder and all cutesy and stuff. there are these little goo things that you have to assemble to reach a weird vacuum. of course, it gets increasingly harder, and of course, i have it on my mac now, and now i'm sort of addicted. it sort of reminds me of my college obsession with bubble trouble that vicky, greg, and i would not stop playing.

tomorrow is veteran's day. day off. sweetness. oh, and that mid-term that i didn't study for, i actually passed. it was no-fault, so i wasn't sweating the exam, but to my surprise, i did OK. and then i skipped my afternoon classes and went shopping with linnaea. i lead a hard life.
