in addition, to tsotsi, i saw a movie monday called napola (before the fall)--it's german. it's a great great film...way better than i thought it would be. just had to put a plug in for that, even at the risk of becoming a ebert/roeperite.

i could use some good thoughts, good vibes, prayers etc. the mcat is saturday and i'm feeling a little anxious.

and i'm just having some personal stuff that's been whirlwinding around in my life. my heart is aching a bit. and i'm just really torn between having this saturday be over and the relief/what's next? feelings i'm having.

in other news, i am planning on sticking around these here parts, so that's exciting. it's 36 right now. granted, it's the latter part of april and i've never had to deal with this extended cold weather for so long; however, the daylight is just coming more and more. it's still two months away from summer solstice (where we get light from 4AM to about midnight), but already it's not dark here until like 10, which is doing quite a number of the diurnal cycle. i actually had to whip out the eyemask because the light was seeping into my window at like 6:15AM. HAHA.

and congrats to my cait who has moved into her new apartment in new orleans. gosh--they grow up so fast. ;)

and my clare who's on a cruise. darn her. :)

once my brain comes down from this temporary stress, i will be much more compelled to relay things in a more creative sense and not have this tendency to want to bitch and moan. :) haha.

love to all.

I'm confused. Have you decided to definitely stay in Alaska next year, or are you still going to apply for med schools?

Either way, good for you!

Isn't the MCAT this weekend? If so, good luck!

congrats on being done with the mcat!!!! good luck with all that crazinastiness. for some reason i have a healthy quorum of friends who are, like, all med students or on the path of becoming med students. you all need to get together and hash things out. meanwhile i just successfully failed (oxymoron) my construction exam. it was pretty shittastic. but that's ok. i'm such a lax student these days hehe. mit trained me well :-P peace to the butt dannyboy. one of these days we need to hang out.
